Cheshire WITCHES hope to put a spell on you!

After the incredible success of the Wirral WITCHES (Women In Touch With Claire House) and the overwhelming number of applications for membership, a new group was set up in Chester.  The Cheshire WITCHES, a group of ladies living and working in and around the Chester area pledged to support Claire House Children’s Hospice during its 10th Birthday in 2009 and then on an ongoing basis after that.

Claire House is a 10 bedded children’s hospice based in Bebington on the Wirral, providing respite and palliative care to children and young adults with life limiting or life threatening conditions.  They offer care and specialist support to children within Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man.  Cheshire WITCHES are aiming to recruit as many members as possible across the Chester and Cheshire area to maximise the amount of money they raise for Claire House.

To become a WITCH you pay an annual subscription of £50 (with all monies donated to Claire House) and either assist with one fundraising event each year or help in recruiting more members.  Members can also decide to hold their own fundraising event, perhaps a Coffee Morning, a Wine Tasting Evening or a Fashion Show but whatever members decide to do they can be sure of getting friendly professional support from the Appeals Team at Claire House who will also help to publicise events.
